How the quote process works
Four steps, and none of them involve a hard sell.
- You tell us where and what. Your address and which services you are interested in. Address matters more than people expect, because soil, shade and lot size vary street to street across Charlotte.
- We look at the lawn. Someone comes out and walks the property. Grass type, square footage, compaction, weed pressure, problem areas. This is not done from satellite imagery.
- You get a written quote. Itemised by service, with what is included and what is not. If a soil test would change the recommendation, we will say so rather than quoting around it.
- You decide, with no pressure. No contract to sign, no cancellation window to worry about. If the timing is wrong, the quote stays valid and you call when you are ready.
What drives the cost of lawn care in Charlotte
Nobody can quote a Charlotte lawn honestly without seeing it, but these are the factors that move the number.
Lot size
The single biggest factor. Treatment is priced per square foot of turf, not per visit, so a quarter acre and a half acre are genuinely different jobs.
Grass type
Tall fescue needs fall overseeding every year to stay dense. Bermuda and zoysia spread on their own and do not. That difference shows up in the annual cost.
Current condition
A neglected lawn costs more in year one because it has to be corrected before it can be maintained. That is a temporary cost, not a permanent one, and we will tell you which year you are in.
How many services you combine
Bundling fertilization with weed control costs less than buying them separately, because they are applied in the same visit.
Whether the soil is the problem
If a soil test shows pH has drifted, correcting that comes first. Skipping it means paying for fertilizer the grass cannot absorb.

Is the quote actually free?
Yes, and there is no obligation attached to it. We come out, look at the lawn, and give you a written price. If you decide not to proceed, that is the end of it.
How quickly will I hear back?
Usually the same or next business day during the week. Spring and fall are our busiest periods, so allow a little longer in March and September.
Do I need to be home for the estimate?
Not usually. We can assess most front and back lawns without you being there, provided gates are unlocked. If there are specific problem areas you want looked at, it helps to walk it together.
What affects the price of lawn care in Charlotte?

Do you require a contract?
